Walter De La Mare (1873-1956)
Walter De La Mare was the poet of high-order. He was the great poet. He was born in the villages of Charlton kent, England. Queen Elizabeth II honoured him with the order of marit in 1953.
This poem has been composed by a great poet Walter De La Mare. He was born at Charlton, Kent in England. He was famous as children’s poet. Queen Elizabeth II honoured him as the order of merit in 1953.
In this poem the poet has described a very beautiful lady who is lying in the tomb. The poet says that she was a very well cultured lady. Her behaviour was very good. Everybody liked her. She had a very charming face. But oneday she died. Her beauty vanished. Her beauty passed. Everyone forgets her. But poet remembers her a lot. Her memories are hidden in the poet’s mind. He thinks when he dies nobody will remember her.
This is a very sensitive and heart touching poem. It ioves message that man is mortal.

वाल्टर डी ला मारे उच्च-व्यवस्था के कवि थे। वह महान कवि थे। उनका जन्म इंग्लैंड के चार्लटन केंट गाँवों में हुआ था। रानी एलिजाबेथ द्वितीय ने उन्हें 1953 में विवाह के आदेश से सम्मानित किया।
