Summary –

Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968)

This speech has been delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. on steps on of Lincoln’s Memorial in Washington DC on 28 August 1963. in this speech he has described about negro. he regrets that the life of the black negro is in poverty and racial discrimination. no doubt the speech presents his Desire and dream of seeing Alabama is a developed state. He wants no racial discrimination between the whites and blacks. Martin Luther King is pained to see that the blacks are still suffering from poverty. whereas the whites are rolling in plenty. so, he calls for the end of racial hatred and injustice. he want to open equal opportunity and Social justice to all. he does not want to quarrel on the name of religion, caste, colour and creed. He want to transform his state into the paradise of freedom. Good thinking and brotherhood must be created. America can become a great Nation only when its freedom flows to all. no one can be developed alone. so all should join hands to make the great Nation. lastly he want to say that the time will come when all-american will be free. the people of all colours cast age and kids will join hands and they will thank God The Almighty.

यह भाषण मार्टिन लूथर किंग द्वारा 28 अगस्त 1963 को वॉशिंगटन डीसी में लिंकन मेमोरियल के चरणों में दिया गया है। इस भाषण में उन्होंने नीग्रो के बारे में वर्णन किया है। उन्हें खेद है कि काले नीग्रो का जीवन गरीबी और नस्लीय भेदभाव में है। इसमें कोई शक नहीं है कि अलबामा को देखते हुए भाषण उसकी इच्छा और स्वप्न को प्रस्तुत करता है। वह गोरों और अश्वेतों के बीच कोई नस्लीय भेदभाव नहीं चाहता है। मार्टिन लूथर किंग यह देखकर दंग हैं कि अश्वेत अभी भी गरीबी से पीड़ित हैं। जबकि गोरे बहुत से रोल कर रहे हैं। इसलिए, वह नस्लीय घृणा और अन्याय के अंत के लिए कहता है। वह सभी के लिए समान अवसर और सामाजिक न्याय खोलना चाहते हैं। वह धर्म, जाति, रंग और पंथ के नाम पर झगड़ा नहीं करना चाहता। वह अपने राज्य को स्वतंत्रता के स्वर्ग में बदलना चाहता है। अच्छी सोच और भाईचारा बनाना होगा। अमेरिका तभी महान राष्ट्र बन सकता है, जब उसकी स्वतंत्रता सभी को मिले। किसी को भी अकेले विकसित नहीं किया जा सकता है। इसलिए सभी को महान राष्ट्र बनाने के लिए हाथ मिलाना चाहिए। अंत में वह कहना चाहता है कि वह समय आएगा जब सभी अमेरिकी मुक्त होंगे। सभी रंगों के लोग उम्र और बच्चे हाथ मिलाएंगे और वे ईश्वर को धन्यवाद देंगे।
